REMEMBER - all medicines are drugs - Which of these drugs do you think are dangerous? Why?
but not all drugs are medicines.

When you are ill, the doctor will often give you
medicine to take which will help to make you better.

These kind of drugs are OK to take as long as you
follow the instructions and as long as they have been
given to you by a person in a position of authority
like a doctor or your parents.
Who are the safe people who can give you
medicine?

Often these drugs will be kept in a safe place in
bottles with special lids so that little children cannot
open them.
But do you know where we can find drugs
which are not medicines?
