How Do Surfaces Reflect? PRINT FROM DOWNLOADS
ASK YOUR TEACHER TO HELP YOU DO THIS
Cut a small hole in a piece of card and fix it to the
front of a torch, a few centimetres away from the
light. This will make a narrow beam of light.
You will now need a selection of different reflecting
surfaces. These should include a flat mirror,
bendy mirror, glossy surface, matt surface
and reflective material.
Shine the narrow beam of light onto each surface
from different angles and watch what happens to
the beam of light.
