Fix Up, Look Sharp! - A Community Safety Teaching Resource :
£35.00
“Fix Up, Look Sharp” aims to support young people in developing the skills to manage risks associated with weapons and domestic violence.
Designed to support teachers in encouraging young people to explore their attitudes towards weapons – particularly knives and guns – and consider the personal and legal risks attached to their possession and use, the pack also explores the theme of domestic violence, raising the awareness of young people and ensuring that they
know when and where to access help.
The pack consists of six lessons to support the film “Fix Up, Look Sharp”, and has been developed by the Met’s Safer Schools Partnership working with pupils from Pupil Referral Units across Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham. The initiative has been officially endorsed by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO).
